In this video Rick Shiels PGA golf professional teams up with Golfbidder to build a set of the best golf clubs ever!
Rick picks a driver, 3 wood, hybrid, irons, wedge and putter and then gets out to Clitheroe golf club in North West England to play some golf with the clubs. Rick will have some tough decisions to make, will he use golf clubs from Callaway Golf, TaylorMade Golf, Titleist Golf, Mizuno Golf, Ping Golf, Cleveland Golf, Srixon Golf, Cobra Golf, Nike Golf, Wilson Golf, Odyssey Golf or even a Scotty Cameron putter?
These golf clubs may not promise to fix your golf slice, stop hooking the golf ball or even hit the golf ball further. However the clubs that Rick has chosen have all had a massive influence on modern golf. For more information about Golfbidder visit

  1. I still play an original Odyssey Two Ball that my dad gave me when I was 15. I haven't found anything I putt better with, so I keep it around. I think I've been through about 6 grips though.

  2. Big Bertha +11 ( 2 ) best ever driver . 12 degree for me , couldn’t hit a driver till I got that club . Then they made it illegal . The face or whatever it was that made it illegal is probably ok now .

  3. At 5' 7" and not able to hit a driver even decent, I use Ping ISIK orange dot 2 & 3 irons in my bag every round. Better than any of today's technology for me anyway. Love your videos and just subscribed.

  4. Loved my King Cobra 9°, as for sand wedge I had the Browning 440 56° SW, even bought a complete 2nd hand set to get a spare, as for irons was tailor fitted for a set of irons which are a small cavity type blade. Have tried several others but keep going back to them.

  5. I started playing golf the same year as you Rick. That Warbird was the first real driver I hit. Loved it. For some reason I went with the Biggest Big Bertha the next year. Don't think I hit it quite as well.

  6. I was using ping i2 beryllium and ping i3’s still have a big Bertha 3 wood in my bag (because my ping i3 3wood died (or I killed it). Still can crush the Bertha around 240-260. Good thing about the 3wood break… forced me to learn how to hit driver off the tee box.

  7. The reason I watch rick is because he’s not showing shots he makes only he shows misses, etc. plus he’s knows his stuff. Cheers from AZ… the state with more golf
Courses than the country of Scotland!
Edit: didn’t see the comment below mine… but yeah we all seem to like that

  8. Wow. Firm flex for a guy who usually hits, X, right? That Bertha was my driver from 1996 until I switched to the 2003 Titleist 908(?) The Titleist was a little longer but harder to control direction.

  9. Yep. Bought that exact putter in 2001. My clubs were stolen and I replaced it with the Odyssey Hot #7, which I finally replaced with another Odyssey fork tail last season.
